Founder & CEO | Lily Conrad
Lily founded Roseate in 2022 with a passion to help nonprofits and other purpose-driven organizations meet their goals and advance their missions through clear and inspired strategies and communications.
She combines her grassroots beginnings and executive background to provide an intimate client experience infused with sound guidance and strategic services based at the intersection of communications, operations and philanthropy.
Most recently, Lily worked for AdventHealth, where she was the Foundation West Florida executive director of operations and philanthropy services. She was responsible for building sustainable, regionalized systems and programs for 10 Foundations throughout five counties. Day to day, she provided leadership and oversight for marketing and communications, fund management, governance, policies and procedures, and annual giving and donor relations programs.
Prior to that, she was the senior director of marketing and communications for the American Heart Association Tampa Bay where she led public relations and special projects for three different chapters covering eight counties. She also served as a strategic partner for cause marketing campaigns, directly contributing to $1M in new revenue three years in a row.
Before joining the nonprofit world, Lily found her home in the newsroom. She worked for three different organizations, including a local online publication, New Roots News, which she co-founded on the principles of community and citizen journalism.
Lily has a bachelor’s degree in humanities and communications from Florida State University and a master’s degree in journalism and media studies from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. She served as the Tampa Bay Waterkeeper Board Chair for three years, helping to launch and grow the local chapter. She recently led the Racquet Club of St. Petersburg’s development committee, raising more than $100,000 for capital campaigns.
You can often find Lily and her husband, Joel, birding at local parks. Lily is a devoted dog mom to Ollie and Murray, a competitive tennis player, an enthusiastic gardener and an avid reader.
